POSTPONED, STAY TUNED!
Watching the arts intersect is an amazing thing. Ensemble Rolland is giving this special concert at the studio of visual artist Peggy Gyulai, who will create new artwork in the moment of performance. Especially noteworthy is the inclusion of Leoš Janáček’s “Kreutzer Sonata,” which is inspired by a Tolstoy short story, which was itself inspired by Beethoven’s “Kreutzer” Sonata for violin.
Janáček: String Quartet No. 1, “Kreutzer Sonata”
